So Confused...
Our NJ-based RE called DH today. He was irritated that DH hadn't received his pardonel prescription yet - apparently he should have been taking it for a month by now. He sent a note to my OB/GYN to remind her to issue the prescription. He should have it by tomorrow. He'll then have to do a prolactin test mid-September to see if the levels have decreased. Basically, we should be all set once he starts taking the meds. He won't have to take the clomid as they both have the same result. Our RE was quite happy with my HSG result so it looks like the focus is on DH . I am so relieved. We may be able to do this without IVF after all! Fingers crossed that the pardonel will make a difference!. We'll talk to our RE next in September before we go to Italy. I hope we can get PG by year's end!

HSG - Complete!
I survived my first HSG! I couldn't eat after midnight since they were knocking me out so I tried to eat a lot last night. It didn't help... I really can't eat more than a single serving without feeling sick. So this morning I took my blood pressure meds with the antibiotic at 7am with a glass of water and that was it. Work this morning was hell with the smell of breakfast foods permiating the office.... DH picked me up a bit for 11am and I checked in while he parked. I then had to wait in the outpatient check-in. The paperwork was amazing! I cannot believe how many forms were fille out in that tiny room. I then was taken to the outpatient room and got to change into the wonderfully sexy backless gown. DH kept me company for quite a while but at that point I had been there for 2 hours and he had to go back to work. I got read while I waited and 30 minutes later they let me keep reading when they wheeled me into pre-op. Another 30 minutes and I managed to finish my book, have the IV tube put into my hand (which was hell - my pesky tiny veins) and transfer to the table in the OR. They put the meds in and the last thing that I rember was my ears tingling. Then I was awake and I felt great - I said something about wanting to do yoga to the nurse. My doctor came in and said my tubes were fine but that was all she said. I guess I'll find out more from my RE when I call him next week (if he receives the results by then). They made me wait 30 minutes before taking me back to the outpatient room for me to eat a cookie, drink some apple juice and get dressed. DH picked me up at 4pm and I was on my way home!

Update
DH did his SA today and he's going to call his urologist for his MRI results and to have them sent to the specialist in NJ. I have to start taking antibiotics tomorrow for the HSG on Wednesday. Since they're putting me out, I have to be taken home afterward. I have accupuncture on Thursday and then hopefully next week we'll get to talk to the specialist in NJ about all of the test results.

Finally, a date!
My ob/gyn is back from vacation and finally called me to make the HSG appointment. I'll be going in for a pre-op meeting on July 29th and will have the procedure on August 6th. Then I guess we'll have to make decisions about surgery. I haven't decided whether to contact the RE in NJ with the details or to wait until after the procedure. He should have my Day 3 bloodwork by now - but then again, my ob/gyn should also have those results. I think I just need to think about this after I go to this cocktail party tonight....

Vampires!
They took 8 vials of blood from me this morning. DH was complaining about the 2 they took from him at his last visit. He hasn't said a word about that since . I managed not to panic and did a lot of yoga breathing in the chair. My right hand started to cramp since I had it in a tight fist and I was holding it like that for a long time. Anyhow, I survived and the next milestone will be the HSG next week (which i need to set up).

Ewww.... Needles!!!
Tomorrow is the CD3 test. Talk about a bunch of tests. I have 2 sheets to turn into the lab and it is full of stuff! I wonder how many vials they will need. We're going in really early in order to get me in without an appointment. I have also decided to bother my ob/gyn on Friday if I don't hear from her before then. As long as I have the HSG next week, I should be fine. I'm now wondering about the 'what happens afterwards'.....

I hate tests...
I am scheduled for CD3 testing on Wednesday morning. I was also supposed to set up the HSG but the nurse for the specialist has not received the memos from the US to send to my ob/gyn and is concerned that my Dr won't set up the HSG without it. We shall see if she'll just make the arrangements and then read about the great situation that we're in. Anyhow, DH had his blood draw today so he just has to wait for his prescription.
